I play Call of Duty 4 pretty often.  I mean alot.  Too much in fact.

But Th!nkEmpire and I were talking the other day about game ideas and something he said had sparked an idea.  What if they had a war photographer class?

As of right now there is no way to get in game video (Halo-esque) or pictures of kills.  By adding a Photography class into the game you could work that in and add an interesting dynamic to the game.

I would imagine that it could work something like this:

• Class has double health (standard).
• Class would have a camera that would occupy the primary weapon slot.
• Class could load secondary weapon slot with any semi-automatic weapon variant, perhaps pistols only?
• Player would receive points not only for kills but for quality of pictures too, via a grading/scoring system similar to the camera mode in BioShock.
• Player could offer up “press clippings” (pictures) to other players for download via a file-sharing system like in Halo 3.

It would add a whole dynamic into gameplay, plus I’ve always found it fascinating to combine features from different games I like to build “the Perfect Game.”
